1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function properly, understand usage patterns, and improve the user experience. This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies we use, why we use them, and how you can control them.

2. Categories of Cookies and Technologies

We use three categories of cookies and tracking technologies:

2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These are essential for the website to function and cannot be disabled in our system. They are set in response to actions you take, such as setting privacy preferences, logging in, or filling in forms. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but some parts of the site may not work.

2.2 Analytics Cookies

These cookies and technologies collect information about how you use our website — which pages you visit, how long you spend, and what you click. We use this data to improve our site and understand user behaviour. All analytics tools are loaded only after you give consent.

2.3 Advertising / Audience Measurement Cookies

These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and understand our audience composition. They may be set through our site by our audience measurement partner. These are loaded only after you give consent.

4. How We Obtain Consent

When you first visit our website, a consent banner appears that allows you to:

  • Accept All — Enable analytics and advertising/measurement categories.
  • Reject All — Enable only strictly necessary cookies.
  • Customize — Select individual categories (Analytics, Advertising / Audience Measurement) before accepting.

Each choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the key pq_consent_v2 (versioned JSON). We do not load any analytics, session recording, or audience measurement scripts until you have given consent.

5. How to Change Your Consent

You can change your cookie preferences at any time:

  1. Preference center: Click the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of any page to reopen the consent preference center.
  2. Browser settings: You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect site functionality.

Withdrawal of consent is as easy as giving it. If you withdraw consent, we will stop loading new tracking scripts. However, any data already collected (e.g., in a partially completed session recording) may persist in our analytics systems until the retention period expires. A full page reload is recommended to ensure all trackers are fully purged from the current page.

6. Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends a Sec-GPC: 1 header or navigator.globalPrivacyControl is set to true, we will automatically treat analytics and advertising/measurement categories as denied, and the consent banner will reflect this. You may still choose to opt in to these categories manually through the preference center.

The GPC signal is recognized as a valid opt-out request under the following US state laws: California (CCPA/CPRA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Delaware (DPDPA), Maryland (MODPA), Minnesota (MCDPA), Montana (MCDPA), Nebraska (NDPA), New Hampshire (NHDPA), New Jersey (NJDPA), Oregon (OCPA), and Texas (TDPSA).
