You receive an onboarding packet within 24 hours: a data access checklist, calendar scheduling for your discovery call, and a pre-read document so the discovery session starts at full speed. No waiting period, no account setup delay.

It depends on the engagement. For analytics audits, churn prediction, and activation work, yes — read-only data access to your analytics tool (PostHog, Amplitude, or Mixpanel) is required. For all else — pricing audits, competitive intelligence, GTM design — no data access is needed. We specify exactly what level of access is required before you commit. You control what we see and when.

We work inside your existing stack. PostHog, Amplitude, and Mixpanel for analytics. Stripe for billing data. GitHub and Linear for product data. For deliverables, we use your collaboration tools — Notion, Google Docs, or whatever your team runs on. We don't require you to adopt new tools to work with us.

From payment to first deliverable: typically 5-7 business days. The first week includes the discovery call, data audit, and the custom audit deck. Total timeline depends on scope — diagnostics and sprints run 2-6 weeks, retainer engagements are monthly with a 3-month minimum commitment.

Yes. Retainer engagements can be paused with two weeks' notice and resumed within 90 days without a new onboarding cycle. Diagnostics and sprint engagements are one-time purchases — no cancellation needed, we deliver what we scoped. Refunds are covered by the guarantee if the diagnosis is not delivered within two weeks.

If you don't see a clear, actionable diagnosis of your growth constraint within two weeks, we refund the engagement fee in full. No questions, no conditions. This guarantee covers every engagement — diagnostics, sprints, and the first month of retainers. We take the risk so you don't have to.

Yes — if you have at least 12 months of product data and paying customers. We don't work with pre-revenue or pre-launch companies because our diagnostic approach requires real usage data to produce useful findings. The typical range is $1M-$50M ARR, with engagements from $2,997 diagnostics through $180K annual retainers.

DFY engagements are direct work with Jake — structured diagnostics, strategy, and custom build-outs delivered on a fixed timeline. The app (ProductQuant Intel) is a self-serve platform for lead finding, contact enrichment, market intelligence signals, and content generation. They complement each other: the app gives you ongoing operational capability; DFY engagements give you the foundational diagnosis and system design.

No. Jake runs ProductQuant as a consultancy and product company. He doesn't take full-time roles. The closest option is a Growth OS retainer — the highest-touch engagement — which includes weekly strategy sessions, async access, and deep ongoing involvement. But even that is structured as a consulting engagement, not an employment arrangement.

All deliverables include two rounds of structured revisions. The first round addresses accuracy and completeness. The second round refines for clarity and actionability. Beyond that, we scope additional work as a separate engagement — most clients don't need more than two rounds because the discovery phase catches direction before any deliverable is written.

ProductQuant is not for pre-revenue startups, teams without a dedicated product leader, companies that want a playbook written for someone else's business, or teams that aren't ready to act on data-driven recommendations. If you want a report to file rather than a system to operate, this won't fit. The qualification call exists to catch mismatches before anyone pays.

Data access is temporary, purpose-limited, and read-only where possible. We never store raw user data. Deliverables are shared in your collaboration tools, not stored on external systems. Full data handling policy is documented on the security page. We can sign NDAs and data processing agreements as needed.

All prices are listed in USD. For international clients, we invoice in USD with payment via wire transfer, Wise, or Stripe. We don't charge different prices by region — the same scope costs the same regardless of where you're based.
